You know I love to re-purpose! At the heart of Illuminate Space is finding otherwise discarded items and illuminating their innate beauty. It’s just so magical. 🙂
We used these fun vodka bottles at our last open house for our Holiday Cocktails. They’re such a fun shape, I knew I wanted to use them for something in my decor.
I was shopping at Wyckwood House, a local boutique here in Aurora, and I found these wood shavings from another local artisan, Short Bench Wood Works. How beautiful are they?! Ah, I just love stuff like this. I’m also kind of addicted to preserving eucalyptus stems right now. I have a collection of several colors now. 🙂 I love the earthy, natural, and minimalist vibe they add to vases.
Guys. This was so easy! Look around your recycling bin for fun shaped bottles, remove the label, find a fun filler, add some stems, and you have your very own vase that nobody else has. I’M OBSESSED. 🙂
