
I was just cleaning off my son’s desk and found this note saved in his stack of books. I had to sit and stare at it for a while in awe.
The world can feel so evil and hopeless and cruel and terrible. But we can raise up a generation that will inherit the world from us and they can be full of goodness and hope and kind and wonderful. Together we can shift the narrative.
So, I’m going to smile at the person at the stoplight, and strike up a conversation with the cashier, and cheer someone up by saying I’m Superman.
Every small thing counts; everything belongs.
“Take heart, I have overcome the world!” …and it’s being done through children, and through me and through you.
