I’ve been a full time college student mom, a stay at home mom, a working out of the home mom, and an entrepreneur mix-of-it-all mom. Recently I sat down my middle son and tried to pull it out of him which time of life he thought was better.
Spoiler alert: he didn’t know the difference between any of those seasons of life.
I think we are so hard on ourselves as moms. We want the best for our kids, sometimes thinking it needs to be at the expense of ourselves. But what if caring for ourselves and following our dreams IS what is best for them? What if giving them a mom that is fully alive and living her best self helps them not just survive, but thrive?
There are days I feel I completely miss the mark. When I’m tired and feel like I didn’t have a parenting win (but several losses).
But, I believe my boys know I love them so much my heart could explode, that I always believe in them and think they are incredible + good, and that I am their biggest fan 100% of the days.
I try to find ways to include my boys in my business. Not only do I want them to be proud of what their mom has built, but I want them to see they can add value, too.

Whatever your season of life, you can find ways to bring your kids along for the ride. Try reframing how you think they see it…“oh, my mom was working” to “oh my gosh, remember that cool thing we made together?” You will feel so much lighter inside, I promise. ❤️
